Programming: it’s not for girls


Last week, Tim Berners-Lee claimed the male domination of website development was down to a geek culture, not human sexual dimorphism.

Not only did his comments spark a new wave of debate on why so few women become programmers, but also helped me fulfil a life time ambition to use the phrase ’sexual dimorphism’ in print. (Twice!)
